My coaching career went from 1961 through to the twenty first century and although it was mainly middle and long distance oriented, it was not exclusively so with Scottish championships won by athletes with whom I was associated in all track events up to the 10000 metres (including hurdles and relays) as well as long jump and high jump. I learned a lot from Frank Horwill and others in the BMC as well as from the top Scottish coaches down the years. This page is to document briefly that career and pay some tribute to the athletes that I worked with.
